7 tableau piles: Build down in suit from the top 7 tableau piles. Cards in groups can be moved. Spaces are automatically filled from the stock by a group of three cards until the stock is empty, at which point spaces can be supplied by a King or groups of cards led by a King. At the start of the game, four cards are dealt face-up to the first four piles, followed by seven cards handed face-up to the last three piles.
Stock: Cards automatically fill slots in the tableau.
Down card and "U" represents a face-up card:
A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower and of the same suit as the original top card of the pile. As a result, the only card that could be played on a Q of hearts is a J of hearts.
Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card can be played onto any other tableau pile.
The tableau's empty spots are immediately filled with three cards from the stock. If the stock is depleted, the tableau's vacant places can only be replenished by kings.
Up card in the tableau may be transferred to another tableau column where it fits, bringing all cards on top of it with it.
The stock is made up of leftover cards.
Cards cannot be withdrawn from the stock manually.
