Set the base rank yourself: your first card fixes all sixteen foundation piles, wrapping King back to Ace. Four decks, eleven tableau columns, a 20% win rate.

Double Signora Solitaire is Thomas Warfield's four-deck expansion of Signora. Instead of building foundations from Ace to King, you set the base rank yourself: the first card you play to an empty foundation pile fixes that pile's starting rank for the rest of the game, and every pile wraps from King back around to Ace as it climbs. Four decks fill sixteen foundation piles and eleven tableau columns, so there's a lot to track, but the game rewards patience. It's medium difficulty, with a 20% chance of winning, and your odds come down mostly to skill.
If you enjoy Double Signora, the original Solitaire is always worth a round. Or stay in the family: Signora Solitaire is the two-deck original this game doubles up on, and Empress of Italy Solitaire is another game built on the same idea.

16 foundation piles: Build up by alternating color from the rank of the first card played to any pile, wrapping from King back to Ace as needed, until each pile has 13 cards.
11 tableau piles: Build by alternating color, wrapping from Ace to King if necessary. Only the top card of each pile may move. Empty piles are automatically filled from the waste or stock. At the start of the game, each pile is dealt one card face-up.
Reserve: The top card is only playable to the foundations. Twenty-one cards are dealt here at the start of the game.
Stock: Click to turn over one card at a time to the waste. There are no redeals.
Waste: The top card can be played on the foundations or tableau.
There are sixteen foundation piles.
Any card may be the first one played to an empty foundation pile. That card's rank becomes the base rank for every foundation pile for the rest of the game.
A card can be added to a foundation pile only if it's one rank higher and the opposite color of the pile's current top card, wrapping from King back around to Ace, so the only card that fits on a 3 of spades is a 4 of hearts. A pile holds at most 13 cards.
The top card of each foundation pile can be moved back into play if another pile will accept it.
There is one reserve pile, dealt twenty-one cards at the start of the game. Every card is dealt face-up. No cards may be moved into the reserve. The reserve's top card can only be played to the foundation.
Eleven tableau piles of one card each, all dealt face-up.
A card from the waste or another tableau pile can be added to a tableau pile only if it's one rank lower and the opposite color of the pile's current top card, so the only card that fits on an 8 of hearts is a 7 of spades. Reserve cards cannot be moved to the tableau.
Cards not covered by another card are free to be played onto the foundation or any other tableau pile.
An empty tableau slot is refilled right away: first from the waste, or from the stock if the waste is empty, or from any waste or tableau card if the stock is empty too. Reserve cards can never fill a tableau slot.
Only one card moves at a time; sequences cannot be moved as a group.
There is one waste pile, and the remaining cards comprise the stock.
Clicking the stock deals one card to the waste. There is only one pass through the stock allowed.
The top waste card can be played to the tableau or foundation.
Your first move sets the tone for the whole game. Whichever card you play to start a foundation pile fixes the base rank for all sixteen piles, so choose it with the rest of the layout in mind.
