Eleven Triangle Solitaire simplifies Triangle Solitaire by lowering its target: instead of pairing cards that add up to 13, you pair cards that add up to 11, plus matching jack, queen, or king pairs. That's a bit more forgiving, with a 5% chance of winning. It's played with a single deck, and luck decides almost all of it.

It's part of the same pair-removal family as Pyramid Solitaire and King Tut Solitaire, two more games built on a triangle-shaped tableau.

How to play Eleven Triangle Solitaire

Layout:

Pyramid: An inverted pyramid of 28 cards. Only exposed cards can be played. Remove any pair of cards whose ranks add up to 11. Jacks, queens, and kings clear in matching pairs instead. Drop one card onto the other to clear a pair.

Stock: Click to turn over one card at a time into the waste piles. There are no redeals.

3 waste piles: The top card of each is playable.

Pyramid:

Twenty-eight cards arranged in seven overlapping rows: seven cards in the back row, then six, five, four, three, two, and one card up front. Every card is dealt face-up.

No building is allowed on the pyramid.

Cards not covered by another card are free to play.

Empty pyramid spots can't be filled.

Stock and waste:

There are three waste piles, and the remaining cards make up the stock.

Click the stock to deal one card at a time into a waste pile. The stock's top card is also available to pair directly with an exposed card elsewhere before it gets dealt to waste. There's only one pass through the stock.

The top card of each waste pile is available for play.
