Every tableau pile starts empty in this Klondike twist: you build the whole layout from scratch, one card at a time. Medium odds, 50% to win.

Gold Mine Solitaire is a Klondike variant with a twist: every tableau pile starts completely empty, so you build the whole layout yourself as you play, and that single deck rewards careful sequencing over luck. Difficulty sits at medium, and you'll win 50% of the time.
Other solitaire games in the same family include Silver Mine, Sir Tommy Solitaire, and the original Solitaire.

4 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit.
7 tableau piles: Build down by alternating color. A sequence of alternating colors can move together from one pile to another. Any card can fill an empty spot. All seven piles start empty.
Stock: Click to deal three cards to the waste at a time. There are no redeals.
Waste: Top card available for play on the foundations or tableau.
There are four foundation piles.
Any Ace in the foundation may be moved to an empty pile.
A card can be added to a foundation pile only if it's one rank higher and the same suit as the pile's current top card, so the only card that fits on a J of spades is a Q of spades.
The top card of each foundation can be moved back into play if another pile will accept it.
There are seven tableau piles, all empty at the start of the game.
A card can be added to a tableau pile only if it's one rank lower and the opposite color of the pile's current top card, so the only cards that fit on a J of spades are the 10 of hearts and 10 of diamonds.
Cards not covered by another card are free to play onto the foundation or any other tableau pile.
Any card can fill an empty tableau spot.
A sequence of alternating colors can move together from one tableau pile to another.
The stock holds the full deck, and there's a single waste pile.
Click the stock to deal three cards to the waste. You only get one pass through the stock. There are no redeals.
The top card of the waste can be played to the tableau or foundation.
