There are eight foundation piles.
Any ace in the foundation may be transferred to any vacant pile.
A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that might be played on a 9 of spades is a 10 of spades. There can be no more than 13 cards in a pile.
Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.
Ten tableau piles, each with one card, two cards in the second, three cards in the third, and so on. Every card is dealt face-up.
A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower than the pile's previous top card and of any suit. As a result, the card that might be played on a four is a three of any suit.
Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card are free to be played onto the foundation or any other tableau pile.
Any card can fill an empty slot in the tableau.
If all cards are of the same suit, groups of cards in succession from high to low may be moved from one tableau column to another.
There is one garbage pile and the remaining cards comprise the stock.
When you click on the stock, three cards from the stock are dealt to the garbage. There are two trips through the stock allowed. If there aren't enough cards left in the deck at the end of a pass, only the remaining cards are dealt. If another pass is made, the trash will be switched over to become fresh stock before the following transaction.
The top card of the trash can be played to the tableau or foundation.
