Two full decks, eight foundations, and just a 1% chance of winning: Seven Devils is one of the toughest, luckiest games on the whole site. Seven Devils Game Layout

Seven Devils Solitaire earns its name honestly. It's one of the toughest games on the site, with only a 1% chance of winning. You play with two full decks, deal out a 13-card reserve up front, and race to fill eight foundations from Ace to King. Luck decides a lot more of the outcome here than skill does, so treat any win as a genuine achievement.

If you like this kind of long-odds challenge, Canfield Solitaire has that same reserve-and-luck feel, or go back to Solitaire for something a little more forgiving.

If you run into anything odd or have an idea that would make the game better, please contact me.

How to play Seven Devils Solitaire

Layout:

8 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit.

Reserve: Any card here can go straight to a foundation with a double-click or right-click, even buried ones. Click a buried card first to bring it to the top and move it elsewhere. At the start of the game, this pile is dealt 13 cards face-up.

7 tableau piles: Alternate color build down, and a valid alternating-color run moves as a group, not just one card at a time. Only Kings fill an empty column. At the beginning, one card is dealt to the first pile, two to the second, and so on. Only the top card of each pile is face-up.

Stock: Click to turn over 1 card to the waste. Redeals are unlimited.

Waste: The top card is open for play on a foundation or a tableau pile.
