8 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit.

7 tableau piles: Alternate color build down. If groups of cards are in sequence, move them down by alternate color. Fill in the blanks with any lawful card or legal collection of cards. At the start of the game, 7 cards are dealt face-up and face-down to each pile.

Stock: By clicking, flip over cards one at a time to the garbage. There are no redeals.

Waste: Always have the top card available for play on the foundations or tableau.

Foundation:

There are eight foundation piles.

Any ace in the foundation may be transferred to any vacant pile.

A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that could be played on an 8 of clubs is a 9 of clubs. There can be no more than 13 cards in a pile.

Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.

Tableau:

Splayed downhill, seven tableau piles of seven cards each. The even-numbered cards in each pile are dealt face-down, while the odd-numbered cards are dealt face-up.

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower than the pile's previous top card and is of the opposing color. As a result, the cards that may be played on the 9 of diamonds would be the 8 of spades or the 8 of clubs.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card are free to be played onto the foundation or any other tableau pile.

Any card can fill an empty slot in the tableau.

If the cards are alternately red and black, groups of cards in succession from high to low can be shifted from one tableau column to another.

Stock and waste:

There is one garbage pile and the remaining cards comprise the stock.

When you click on the stock, one card from the stock is dealt to the garbage. There can only be one trip through the stock.

The top card of the trash can be played to the tableau or foundation.
