There are eight foundation piles.
Any ace in the foundation may be transferred to any vacant pile.
A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that might be played on a 5 of diamonds is a 6 of diamonds. There can be no more than 13 cards in a pile.
Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.
One reserve pile, which was initially empty.
A card may be placed onto the reserve pile if it is of equal rank as the pile's previous top card and is of any suit. As a result, the card that could be played on an eight is an eight of any suit.
Cards in the reserve that are not covered by another card can be played onto the foundation or any tableau pile.
Only kings may fill vacant spots in the reserve.
Only one card may be moved at a time; sequences are not permitted.
Ten tableau piles, each with one card, two cards in the second, three cards in the third, and so on. The top card in each pile is dealt face-up, while the remaining cards are dealt face-down.
A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower than the pile's previous top card and is of the opposing color. As a result, the cards that may be played on a 4 of hearts would be three of spades or three of clubs.
Cards not covered by another card on the tableau are eligible for play on the foundation, any other tableau pile, or the reserve pile.
Only kings may fill empty spots in the tableau.
If the cards are alternately red and black, groups of cards in succession from high to low can be shifted from one tableau column to another.
There is one garbage pile and the remaining cards comprise the stock.
When you click on the stock, one card from the stock is dealt to the garbage. There can only be one trip through the stock.
The top card of the trash can be played to the tableau, reserve, or foundation.
