Deal the deck into sixteen three-card fans and build by rank alone, any ten answers any ten. Empty a fan and it stays empty for good.

Sixteen Piles Solitaire deals the whole deck into sixteen fan piles of three cards each, and on the fans you build by matching rank only, so any ten can land on any other ten regardless of suit. Four foundations start with an ace apiece and climb by suit from there, and once a fan pile empties out, it stays empty for good. It's a quieter kind of solitaire, no alternating colors to juggle, just rank and patience.
If you like stacking cards by rank, Batsford Solitaire and Pile Up Solitaire use a similar idea, or try original Solitaire for something more traditional.

Have a good time playing!
There are four foundation piles.
Each foundation pile is handed an ace at the start.
A card can be added to a foundation pile only if it's one rank higher and the same suit as the pile's current top card, so the only card that fits on a 10 of clubs is a J of clubs.
The top card of each foundation can be moved back into play if another pile will accept it.
There are sixteen fan piles of three cards each, all dealt face-up.
A card can be added to a fan pile only if it matches the rank of the pile's top card, regardless of suit. Any ten of any suit can be played on a ten, for example.
Cards on the fan that aren't covered by another card can be played onto the foundation or any non-empty fan pile.
Empty fan spots stay empty; nothing can fill them.
You can only move one card at a time. Sequences can't be moved as a group.
